BIG TOURIST SUMMER! The Venice Beach House

There’s never a shortage of entertaining things to do in Venice Beach, especially during summer. Whether you’re a local or here on vacation, Venice Beach is a place to come socialize, learn and enjoy. There are plenty of events that take place during the summer for people of all ages to enjoy. Looking for a fun evening out, or entertaining out-of-town guests? Below are some of the highlighted festivities, in addition to year-round local favorites.

5th Annual Summer Fest in Venice Beach

The heat is on at the 5th Annual Summer Fest! Almost 250,000 people are expected to attend the festival. Featuring up to 200 arts and crafts vendors, community organizations, over 60 live bands and performers, rock climbing wall, as well as food from all over the world, and fun in the sun for two days.

Venice Art Crawl: Every third Thursday of the month by the Venice Beach Boardwalk, local businesses and residents become pop-up art galleries. There are parties, live music, themed events and most of all, lots of great art! www.veniceartcrawl.com
First Friday’s on Abbot Kinney: The merchants of Abbot Kinney invite you to join them on the first Friday of every month for extended shopping hours where stores stay open until 10:00 p.m. Bars and restaurants run normal business hours, however there are plenty of food trucks to suit any palette.

Venice Oceanarium Museum “A museum without walls”–
