Overlooking the Speedway, we are reminded of the first annual (and only) Venice Grand Prix, won by Barney Oldfield, who careened down Speedway in 1915 at the death defying speed of 90 miles per hour! The Speedway sports two Double Beds, with a Garden View. Great writing is inspired here . . . or great race strategy. Everybody needs a place to relax after a race.
